OUR BRAND STORY

QuTees'  line is more than just a brand to us. While in the design phase it was meant to represent the LGBT community and then, suddenly, it began to have a more powerful meaning. Hate crimes (bias against people or groups with specific beliefs and/or characteristics) are extremely prevalent based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or disability. Prejudice, judgement and discrimination are some of the most pressing issues facing our nation today. We’d like to think that we are not alone in our belief of equality and recognizing that there are things we can do to create a more inclusive world. On the other hand, we also know that most don’t because they don’t see themselves as part of the problem, they don’t recognize that they can be part of the solution by actively coming together and living inclusively. We started to think outside the box and said this is a  of which everyone can be a part.

Have you ever stopped to think why it takes a disaster to bring us together? Coming together in times of disaster are profound moments. These moments of togetherness show that we all have an inherent desire for inclusion and  connection, but our bias, society and social norms prevent us from demonstrating that desire on an everyday basis.

QuTees believes that once everyone is reminded to see each other as humans above all else you will then recognize that we are all souls with an innate capacity to
